2021/2022 Affiliate Marketing/Online Business Starter Pack

Prerequisites

Instructions:

  • Obtain the following equipment then follow the rest of the guide. These necessities will save you a LOT of time and hassle. From personal experience, this is everything that I absolutely needed to have in order to start affiliate marketing.

TASK 1:

Choose Your Business NICHE

Instructions:

  • This is where your passions come into play! Exciting right? Think of anything you are passionate about and have genuine interest in and that will be your business niche. In my case, I have passions for all things guns, cars, trucks and business.

NOTE: 

  • A business niche is the market you will be involved with. It’s what you specialize in. For example, Tony Robbins is in the personal development niche.

TASK 2:

Obtain Web Hosting and Domain (Website) Name

Instructions:

     1.) Head to one of the WordPress recommended web hosting services below. I personally use and recommend Bluehost. I currently use it for this website and it starts at just $3.95/mo.

 

     2.) Think of a domain name for your website ex. (money1.com)

TIP: 

  • Try to obtain a “.COM” domain as these usually work the best when customers search for your site. Some good alternatives are “.NET” “.ORG” and “.CO”

TASK 3:

Build a WordPress Website

Instructions:

  • Watch the entire video below, follow along and start building. This is ODi Productions by the way. His videos are ridiculously helpful! I very highly suggest you check out his content later.

 

TASK 4:

Apply for Email Marketing

Instructions:

  • Watch the following video and yes, this is Odi again. I’m a HUGE fan of his if you can’t tell! Open the Constant Contact logo in a new tab and follow along with the video to get started. They offer a FREE 60 day trial so there’s no risk. 

 

TASK 5:

Obtain or Make a Brand Logo

Instructions:

  • OPTION 1.) Head to Fiverr where you can easily hire someone to create a logo for your brand starting at just $5!

  • OPTION 2.) Download and startup GIMP then watch the video below and follow along to learn how to make a simple logo. This is the exact video I watched to make this websites logo!

TASK 6:

Join Affiliate Programs

Instructions:

  • Once you have completed tasks 1-5, apply for the following affiliate programs. I recommend these for beginners since you can sell just about ANYTHING on Amazon and Commission Junction has some of the worlds largest brands.

 

TASK 7:

Get Your Affiliate Links

Instructions:

  • Once you have chosen your products on either affiliate program. Copy the links they give you and paste them to your website and content.

 

TASK 8:

Create and Post Review Content (Video or Written)

Instructions:

  • Use your website, laptop, smartphone camera, a tripod (if needed), and creativity to either write or film content. Your content should be a review of the product you are selling. State the pros and cons of the product and give an honest review. When you post your content, include your affiliate links to the product you are reviewing.

TIP: 

  • I personally recommend using Adobe Premiere Rush for video editing (available for iOS and Android phones). You can also use apps like iMovie as well.

Drive Traffic to Content

Instructions:

  • Watch the following video.

  • A recommended starting budget is $5 a day for beginners when driving traffic to your content.
